INFOKU, BLORA - Floods hit parts of Sonokidul Village, Kunduran District, Blora.
Flooding occurred due to heavy rain that flushed the area, apart from that it was caused by the irrigation channels/gullies around the area being blocked so that the water overflowed and increased the water level.
According to Bhabinkamtibmas, Kunduran Police, Blora Police, Roni, who immediately went to the location of the flood, confirmed that the flood which occurred at around 18.30 WIB on Saturday (6/1/2024), was not only caused by the heavy rain that occurred, but was also caused by the drain. clogged irrigation/drains around SD Negeri 2 Sonokidul.

"After we checked the location, it turned out that this flood was not only caused by heavy rain, but the gutters around this place were also blocked," he explained.
The worst situation occurred in the courtyard of SD Negeri 1 Sonokidul, which even resulted in some of the classrooms and library at the elementary school being flooded, but the water did not reach the teacher's room.
Due to this incident, Kunduran Police Chief, AKP Kumaidi, through Bhabinkamtibmas Kunduran Police, Roni, together with the local village community, immediately took quick steps.
"On the orders of the Sector Police Chief, we together with the people of Sonokidul Village immediately cleaned the blocked drains, so that the water could run smoothly again." he added.

After cleaning the clogged gutters located around SD Negeri 2 Sonokidul, at around 20.00 WIB, the water that had been stagnant had gradually started to recede.
