INFOKU, BLORA – Currently in Blora there is a lot of discussion about cases of violence against women and children, of course the victims need psychological assistance.
But ironically, the Blora Regency Government (Pemkab) only has one psychologist.
Acting Officer (Plt) of the Blora Social, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service (Dinsos P3A) Luluk Kusuma Agung Ariadi said that handling cases of child violence in Blora requires psychologists.
Meanwhile, there is a shortage of psychologists in the area, and shelters or safe houses need optimization.

“The halfway house is the hardest. Then the handling is related to children, namely victims of child abuse. "Meanwhile there is only one psychologist in the district," he explained.
Even though it is minimal, he explained, his party is trying to continue providing psychological assistance.
Including efforts to collaborate with the Cepu Oil and Gas Human Resources Development Center (PPSDM Migas) to help provide psychological assistance in the Cepu, Kedungtuban, Sambong, Menden, Randublatung and other areas.
"I conveyed this to PPSDM to ask for help from a psychologist," he added.
Secretary of the Blora Health Service (Dinkes) Nur Bestia Bertawati explained that there is only one psychologist who has the authority to provide psychological assistance.
Currently, he is working at the Blora District Hospital, including providing assistance to female and child victims in the area.
“We only have one (psychologist) who has a master's degree. Actually, there are also (psychologists) who have a BA. "But procedurally it is not permitted (to provide psychological assistance)," he explained.
Nur explained that there were no plans to add psychologists this year.
Because it has to be done through recruitment of regional civil service officials, this can be overcome by recruiting through the regional public service agency (BLUD).

Because, BLUD has budget management autonomy.
