INFOKU, BLORA – This year the online level acceptance of new students (PPDB) for elementary schools has not been maximized, so that the average elementary school in Blora is still lacking students.
This year, not all elementary schools have implemented PPDB online. Infrastructure and internet access are still the main obstacles.
"What can be seen in the PPDB online SD is minimal, because not all SD in Blora have yet implemented it.
To be honest, not all elementary schools use PPDB online,'' explained the Daily Executor (Plh) Secretary of the Blora Education Office (Disdik) Nuril Huda.
Nuril explained, parents prefer to register their children offline directly to school.
Apart from that, there are teachers who even go out into the field to promote their students to enroll in their school.
Thus, the overall data for new students who will enter school today (17/7) cannot be determined.
"We will fix the exact number on Monday, because not all students are enrolled in PPDB online," he explained.
According to him, there are several factors that affect the lack of online PPDB registrants at the SDN level.
One of them is internet access which is not comprehensive in all areas. Especially in areas far from urban areas.
"Frankly, regarding infrastructure, there are blank spots in the Blora area with no signal. But actually it can be anticipated,''he explained.
The head of SDN 1 Sumengko, Randublatung District, Agus said that currently the school he leads only has 3 students.
The cause of the lack of registrants is because the average productive age in the school environment is outside the city.
"Those who are married must urban to the city. So there are minimal children here,” he explained.

He emphasized that the condition of the population is still sparse and the factor of access to infrastructure is less supportive. Thus, the lack of registrants is not due to school quality.
"Besides that, maybe the road leading here is badly damaged," he explained. (Endah / IST )
