INFOKU, BLORA - Entering the 2023/2024 Academic Year, a number of uniform and school equipment shops in Blora Regency, Central Java are busy with buyers.
One of them is seen in the Tower Shop, Jalan Mr. Iskandar Blora. Shops that provide school uniforms, notebooks, textbooks and various school equipment were seen to be full of visitors, Sunday (16/7/2023).
"Buy new uniforms, tomorrow you will start high school in Blora," said Kiky, one of the children who bought school uniforms seriously.
He admits that he prefers to choose new school uniforms that are ready-made rather than having to stand in line to sew uniforms.
"This is ready, you just have to choose, the size is adjusted, there are Student Council and Boy Scout uniforms," he added.
Not only that, parents bring their children to take advantage of the holidays to buy other school needs.
It is estimated that sales of school equipment will increase by 100% entering the start of the 2023/2024 school year.
"I always observe that there is an almost 100% increase in sales of school uniforms, books and stationery. This always happens with every new teaching, but this is based on my experience when buying children's school needs," said Teguh, one of the parents who took the children to buy school bag.
The most purchased are mainly books, pencils, pens, erasers and pencil cases.

Book covers such as paper covers and gifts also experienced an increase during the new school year, especially with pictures of children's favorite cartoon characters such as Frozen, Minions, Doraemon, and others.
