INFOKU, BLORA – There are quite a lot of early childhood educators (PAUD) in Blora who have not graduated yet.
The Blora Education Office (Disdik) noted that there were around 1,540 PAUD teachers who had not attained these qualifications.
According to the plan this year, the Education Office will try to provide free tuition assistance for 100 teachers.
The Head of the Early Childhood and Community Education Division, Nuril Huda, said that currently his party is concentrating on dealing with this matter.
This year there will be efforts to provide college assistance for PAUD teachers . although the program still has to adjust the available budget.
“We are trying to help PAUD educators who happen to be in college. The final semester will be a priority,'' he said.
Nuril explained, the number of PAUD teachers in Blora is 2,600 people. Of that number, as many as 1,540 people have not graduated.
In detail, 980 people have not entered college and the remaining 560 people are in the process of completing their studies.
"This has caught the attention of the Regent and us. Later, we have planned for college assistance with a quota of 100 teachers with a budget of IDR 3.5 million per teacher,'' he said Sunday (25/6).
According to him, this assistance can improve the quality of educators at an early age level and their welfare. This is because PAUD teachers are not the same as kindergarten teachers. This is because PAUD teachers cannot be certified.
"This is a problem on a national scale and we will continue to work on it if we can become one, meaning that PAUD teachers and kindergarten teachers are equal," he explained. (Endah / IST )
