INFOKU –Currently the government is preparing a plan to accept new CPNS in 2023. There are at least 1,030,000 formations prepared.
This was disclosed by the Minister for Empowerment of the State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas after an internal meeting with President Joko Widodo at the Merdeka Palace last week.
"Finally, we conveyed related to the ASN recruitment plan in 2023. There are still several agencies with letters that we have sent, but they have not yet sent proposals for CPNS formation in 2023. And in total we will recruit while there are 1,030,000 people in 2023 ," Azwar told reporters after the meeting.

Azwar explained that the CPNS formation had been prepared to accommodate complaints from new graduates who wanted to serve the nation. Especially for digital talent or those related to IT.
"Because of this digitalization, if it runs in the regions, the technical staff should not be continuously recruited. It's because it's digital," said Azwar.
September Registration
So that later for the formation of technical personnel will no longer be recruited by the government. Seeing the direction of the government service system in the regions is also towards digitization.
"In part, there are digitalization anomalies but they are still recruiting non-technical non-ASN personnel. Therefore, later personnel who will be disrupted by technology and digitalization will not be prioritized for recruiting ASN in 2023," Azwar explained.
Currently the government is preparing the recruitment stage for the formation of new graduates or fresh graduates. Azwar said that 20% of the required 1,030,000 formation proposals were fresh graduates and 80% were non ASN or PPPK.
As for Azwar, he said that the plan to open the 2023 CPNS recruitment would begin in September this year.
"It will start in September 2023. We will first determine the formation and then announce it," he concluded. (Tanti / IST )
