14 Stolen Teak Logs Seized by the Blora Police


INFOKU, BLORA  - The Blora Police assisted by Polhutmob KPH Randublatung arrested the perpetrators of the crime of stealing teak wood, Sunday (18/6/2023).

Blora Police Chief AKBP Fahrurozi through the Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Supriyono explained the initial incident on Tuesday 28 March 2023 The KPH Randublatung Polhutmob Patrol carried out a mobilization towards BKPH Kemadoh at around 20.00 WIB in Jegong Village, Jati sub-district.

The Forest Police patrol ran into the elf Silver's car because it was suspicious, then the patrol members approached the car when they wanted to check the driver and the passengers escaping.

The patrol personnel swiftly gave chase and managed to catch 1 passenger while the elf car driver managed to escape.

Then Polhut personnel checked the car and found 14 teak logs in the form of logs which were suspected to have come from inside the forest area which were not accompanied by a valid certificate of forest products.

"It is suspected that the logs were stolen goods. For this incident the patrol team reported the incident to the Blora Police for further examination and investigation," he explained.

From the development of this incident, on June 18 2023, Blora Police Resmob personnel managed to catch the perpetrator who fled, namely PDS in Dukuh Ngampel, Plosorejo Village, Randublatung District.

Evidence of an elf car and 141 logs of teak wood with a total volume of 0.99 cubic meters were brought to the Blora Police to be used as evidence.

For this crime, it is estimated that Perhutani suffered a loss of IDR 19,733,760.00.
