INFOKU, BLORA – PMK has not subsided yet, there are suspicions that three cows in Blora are infected with the lumpy skin disease (LSD) virus.
The Blora Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service (DP4) is still conducting laboratory tests.
DP4 claimed to be overwhelmed by the livestock virus attack that came at the same time.
This is because apart from the LSD virus, foot and mouth disease (FMD) is also spreading again in the Blora area.
Head of the Animal Health Division of DP4 Blora Tejo Yuwono said LSD would be a chore if the three cows were later proven to have the virus. Currently the lab results are still not out.

"The lab results haven't come yet. LSD is suspected and has been treated yesterday,''he explained.
They have yet to issue an official statement. That's so as not to panic breeders and the public. ''Still need a lot of evaluation. Please all parties do not look at the health of animals only one eye,''he said firmly.
Tejo explained that animal health needs attention. Special handling must also be given in dealing with cases like this time.
Animal health is very vital. When everyone ignores it can make the economy not good.

"The economy is in shambles because this problem is underestimated," he added.
Head of the Blora DP4 Service Gundala Wejasena said LSD was different from PMK. The symptom is a lump on the skin. It is not yet known the origin of the outbreak.
"The most important thing is that this must be resolved immediately considering that PMK has not been completed yet," he explained. (Endah/ IST )
