Blora RPH Project Contractor Called, Threatened with Fines

INFOKU, BLORA – It can be seen directly that the progress of the construction of two slaughterhouses (RPH) is considered slow.

Partners had to be called in for questioning. If at the end of the work period it has not been completed, a fine will be imposed by regulation.

Head of the Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service (DP4), Blora Gundala Wejasena, explained that the construction of the RPH is already in progress. However, it feels less than optimal. Thus, two partners were summoned for questioning.

"We call that there are two buildings, one is a house for ruminant animals and poultry, we ask how the progress is," he said.

Gundala said that the Rumanesian RPH has been running, while for the poultry RPH there are technical problems.

However, after emphasizing their commitment, the partners agreed to continue the construction until the work was completed.

"The poultry abattoir has technical problems, because what to plan and what to do. If I say this, how do you plan it, it must be implemented immediately, if you have the courage to take it, you must dare to take responsibility," he said.

According to Gundala, functions must be carried out, both in terms of construction and supervision from consultants. If there is a delay, a penalty will be given in the form of a fine according to regulations.

"Later, for example, if you are late, you will be fined according to the rules, you must still proceed according to the rules," he said.

The project work, which costs Rp 3.4 billion for poultry abattoirs and Rp 2.6 billion for Rumanesian abattoirs, is planned to be completed in early December.

According to the results of field observations, activities have begun, because previously workers had been given a day off because there were other agendas from the employer.
