INFOKU, BLORA -The construction of the Blora Regency National Awakening Party (PKB) Branch Management Board pendapa began with the kawit tradition before it was established on Jalan Sumbawa Number 11, Jetis, Blora yesterday.
Kawit is done by preparing rice, several side dishes such as fried noodles and tempeh, and is equipped with two grilled ingkung (whole chicken).
Then the prayers were read by local religious leaders, the PKB Blora syuro council, and one of the representatives of the Sub Branch Management (PAC) from PAC Jepon.
The chairman of the Blora Regency PKB DPC Abdul Hakim admitted that the activity was carried out in the context of Javanese cultural studies. "As Javanese, we (DPC PKB Blora, ed) do not leave Javanese customs. We do it according to the Shari'a, the customs of the NU people, the customs of the Javanese," he explained.
He also said the kawit is done to pray to Allah, so that all are given salvation by Allah.
"May Allah give safety, both to those who build it and those who use it later," he added.
The judge also explained that Blora's PKB does not yet have a meeting building. Meanwhile, the activities in the party have become more and more crowded.
In addition, there are many autonomous bodies in this party and they are also active in activities. So that the construction of the pendapa is considered necessary to be built immediately.
He added that the pendapa to be built will later become a people's house.
“This pendapa, apart from party activities, can also be used for community activities. Starting from Ansor, Muslimat, Fatayat, even the surrounding community can use it, the important thing is confirmation," he explained.
