INFOKU, BLORA –In the 2022 Blora APBD, the Public Works and Spatial Planning Service (DPUPR) allocated a budget of approximately Rp. 3.1 billion for the construction of embankments to handle landslides in several priority locations in Blora Regency, Central Java.
The budget allocation will be used to deal with landslides that have an impact on the potential damage to road infrastructure and settlements in the Cepu and Blora sub-districts.
This is in order to support and realize the vision and mission of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Blora, namely realizing good infrastructure and sustainable environmental management.
The Head of the Blora DPUPR Service, Samgautama Karnajaya confirmed, and emphasized that in the 2022 budget year, an allocation of approximately Rp. 3.1 billion was allocated in the Water Resources (SDA) Sector for activities for handling landslides in the Giyanti River, Kec. Cepu and the handling of the Glagahan River landslide, Kec. Blora.
"The budget will be used to build the construction of embankments and embankments to restore the embankments in the two rivers, which were damaged by water scouring," he explained, Wednesday (16/3/2022).

Thus, later it can prevent landslides around the construction site from happening again and can restore the river embankment to its original condition.
Meanwhile, the Head of SDA DPUPR Surat explained that the handling of landslides will be focused on dealing with landslides in the Giyanti river, Kec. Cepu is budgeted at around Rp. 2.3 billion and the handling of the Glagahan river landslide is budgeted at around Rp. 931 million.
According to Surat, the progress of the activity is currently still in the process of preparing the DED. "Yesterday, we carried out a field survey with the Giyanti Village government to determine the location of the Giyanti river landslide point," he explained.
Surat said, there were two locations that experienced landslides which had an impact on the potential damage to the village's main road and had an impact on the residential environment.

"From the results of our field visits, due to budget constraints, we will prioritize locations that have an impact on the landslide of the main road section of the Ngroto-Giyanti road in Giyanti village," he said.
This is to ensure that the main road will continue to function properly to support the continuity of distribution and transportation for the Giyanti village community, Kec. Cepu.
"From the results of the field survey visit, we will immediately follow up with planning for the construction DED. Let's just pray that around August, the construction work can be carried out," said Surat.
