INFOKU -Synergy between regencies to finalize border area development planning continues to be carried out by the Regent of Blora, H. Arief Rohman. One of them is with the Ngawi Regency Government, East Java.
As was done on Tuesday (15/3/2022), the Regent who is familiarly called Mas Arief attended the invitation of the Ngawi Regency RKPD Development Planning Consultation (Musrenbang) for direct coordination with the Regent H. Ony Anwar Harsono.
The two Regents seemed to be having intense discussions at the Ngawi Regency Hall, before the start of the Musrenbang. There are at least three development proposals that are discussed together and will have benefits for these two bordering areas.
"Yes, that's right, the Ngawi Regent is an old friend of ours. We want to build synergy between regions to develop the area. There are three things we discussed earlier, namely the first related to the development plan of the Karangnongko Weir which is being sought to be included in a national strategic project. which will stem the Bengawan Solo River in Kradenan District," said Arief Rohman.

"Although the dam is on the border of Blora and Bojonegoro, the water can be used to meet industrial needs in Ngawi, synergy because we are Indonesian. Meanwhile, Blora can help with agricultural irrigation, tourism, and fulfill clean water," he continued.
Then the second, according to Arief Rohman, is the support for the proposed construction of the Blora - Ngawi road through Randublatung - Getas - Banjarejo - Sonde.
This road will be a strategic access from Blora to Ngawi, to open up the South Blora area and make it easier for the community's economy to go to Ngawi.
"We want future development from the Ngawi side to also go to the Blora border, and vice versa from the Blora side. Later this access will be more effective for accessing the Ngawi toll road, from Blora it doesn't have to go to Cepu - Padangan. We are also trying to get help from Center," said Regent Arief.
"Finally, thirdly, we ask for support for the development of an integrated upstream-downstream cattle farm in Megeri Village, Kradenan District. The location is in the Getas Ngandong KHDTK area managed by UGM Yogyakarta on the Blora-Ngawi border," added Regent Arief.
"So Megeri is in the Blora area, from Blora it takes two hours, but from Ngawi Square it takes fifteen minutes. The vehicle number plate is Ngawi. Please pray that the Blora and Ngawi Regency Governments can synergize to move forward together. Thank you, Mr. Regent Ony Anwar for his welcome and direction," said Regent Arief in front of the media crew.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Ngawi, H. Ony Anwar Harsono, expressed his gratitude to the Regent of Arief Rohman who had attended directly to Ngawi for the synergy in developing the region.
"Thank you, Mr. Regent of Blora for your presence, this is proof of our joint commitment to advancing the two regions. This is our encouragement, because with synergy, we can follow up the acceleration of development on a national priority scale," said Regent Ony Anwar.
"Earlier, the Regent of Blora conveyed that there was the Karangnongko Gerak Weir, then the access road from Blora to Ngawi which was accessible when it was built, later the people of Blora would be easier to carry out activities in Ngawi Regency. Participate in supporting the economy in Ngawi Regency. And can access toll roads quickly," continued Regent Ony.
