INFOKU, BLORA - TheRegent of Blora, Arief Rohman, responded to a lawsuit from the former Chairperson of the Gerindra Blora Branch Executive Board, Setiyadji Setyawidjaja.
As reported by Regent Arief Rohman, Setiyadji was sued at the Blora District Court for committing an unlawful act related to the inauguration of the interim dismissal (PAW) as a member of the Blora Regency DPRD.
"Yes, let's face it, the name of the democratic mechanism is in order," said Arief in a statement to reporters, Saturday (8/1/2022).
Apart from Arief Rohman, Setiyadji also sued the governor of Central Java, the chairman of the Blora Regency DPRD, the secretary of the DPRD, the chairman of the Gerindra Blora DPC, the chairman of the Blora KPUD, and the chairman of the Blora Bawaslu.
In fact, Arief admitted that he had received a message from the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, that the lawsuit should be followed up with the process.
"The governor has also WA (WhatsApp) me, because we are a state of law, if there is a lawsuit, we will face it," he said.
However, it is certain that the PKB politician will not go directly to court.

Mas Arief (the 28th Regent of Blora's nickname-red) assessed that the existence of PAW that occurred within the council was the domain of each political party.
"Because the PAW replacement process is the authority of the party, we will only continue with the administrative requirements," he said.

However, Arief did not object to the lawsuit made by Setiyadji Setyawidjaja.

"The name is a legal process, we respect it, the name is looking for justice, so it will proceed in court, yes, we will come, I am represented by the Head of the Law Department to answer what is the claim in question," he explained.
For your information, the former chairman of the Gerindra Blora DPC, Setiyadji Setyawidjaja, filed a lawsuit at the Blora District Court. In case Number 1/Pdt.G/2022/PN Bla, Setiyadji sued the governor of Central Java, the regent of Blora, the chairman of the Blora DPRD, the secretary of the DPRD, the chairman of the Gerindra Blora DPC, the chairman of the Blora KPUD, and the chairman of the Blora Bawaslu.
