INFOKU, BLORA -A multipurpose building located in Jepon Village, Jepon District Inaugurated by Blora Regent H. Arief Rohman, Saturday (8/1/2022).
The Japanese multipurpose building is quite spacious, in which there are 5 badminton courts. In addition, there are various facilities such as changing rooms and so on, and there is an upper second floor for spectators.
"This is extraordinary. In order to improve badminton performance in Blora, today we are inaugurating another GOR specifically for badminton training," said Regent Arief.
Arief Rohman also hopes that in the future there will be a sports school for badminton coaching and training in Blora.
"The hope is that from Japan, achievements will be made, including that we will build a sports school for badminton," he said.
The Regent revealed that there were many outstanding athletes who were born in Japan.
"I feel happy to be here for our inauguration of the Japanese multipurpose building, so from Japan, many of these badminton figures have come from Japan," said Arief Rohman.
The Regent conveyed, including after the inauguration of the building so that tournaments would often be held. So that it is expected to motivate the children of Blora.
"Including this afternoon someone from Djarum also came, later we hope that there will be frequent tournament competitions, of course, it will motivate our children to be able to continue to excel," he explained.
In addition, Arief Rohman also hopes that later with the presence of the building, he will also mobilize local potential.
"After this building is built, local potential can be utilized. 7 places have been prepared to sell it. What kind of bustling building will the sub-districts and sub-districts coordinate with the youth here so that they can be used," he explained.
Arief Rohman even hopes that Jepon will later become a center for sports activities. In addition, the existing Kridaloka Field will later be renovated into a temporary stadium.
"I have a dream that we will build this Kridaloka later, so it's a temporary stadium because our budget is still focused on road infrastructure. Meanwhile, we will focus on football activities in Kridaloka, of course with improvements plus stands and so on, so that Jepon can become a sports center," he added.
Jepon Village Head, Suji revealed that the construction of this building was initiated by the people's desire to have a representative building, especially for sports.
"The construction of this multipurpose building began with the desire of the Japanese people to have a representative building, so that the spirit of self-help gotong royong arose, but in the middle of the road the construction stopped," he said.
So that the Jepon Sub-District Government handed over the continuation of the implementation to the Blora Regency Government until, until now, it could be completed and ready to be used.
Suji hopes that the multipurpose building can increase public interest in sports, as well as boost the local community's economy.
Head of PBSI Blora Regency, Ahmad Labib Hilmy, expressed his gratitude for the construction of the multipurpose building. As well as being a motivation to further improve the quality of coaching athletes in the future.
"I thank you for this extraordinary building," he said.
Labib is optimistic that badminton in Blora Regency will continue to develop in the future.
"God willing, for badminton, the potential is extraordinary and I am very optimistic that Blora Regency will be able to produce athletes who excel," said the Chairman of PBSI Blora.
He hopes that this new building can be useful for badminton activists in Blora Regency, especially in Jepon District.
Meanwhile, the local youth leader, Amien Faried, said that this multipurpose building is the largest indoor facility for community activities, and should be used to its full potential.
Amin, who is also the Director of BCC, hopes to promote sports in Blora district and increase economic growth, especially in Jepon.
"We hope that the construction of this multipurpose building can increase interest in sports in Blora Regency and can increase or grow the community's economy, especially in the Jepon village and its surroundings," he hoped.
Besides that, he wants the youth in this area to take advantage of the existence of this building.
"The existence of these facilities and infrastructure motivates all of us that we have a big responsibility for the development which from the beginning gave birth to athletes who are potential athletes of national standard, we hope together," he said. (Endah/KOM)
