INFOKU, BLORA - A team of Blora Police Women (Polwan) members, Central Java Regional Police, held a dialogical patrol in the Blora District Square and Kridosono Field Blora, Sunday (2/1/2022).
Regardless of holidays, red dates, or New Year's holidays, the police as security guards are required to always be on standby in carrying out their duties.
Not only male police officers, even female police officers (Polwan) are also required to take an active role in maintaining security and order.
The patrols are focused on the location of the crowd, precisely in the Alun-alun area and the Kridosono field.
That's because every Sunday or holiday is crowded with residents to carry out morning sports, or just enjoy the morning culinary while refreshing.
Blora Police Chief AKBP Wiraga Dimas Tama dispatched a police women patrol team to maintain the conduciveness of the area on weekends or public holidays.
In addition to anticipating disturbances in Kamtibmas, the presence of policewomen in the community is to convey health protocol appeals, especially still in the atmosphere of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Our target is the crowd of people, where we urge you to always familiarize yourself with health protocols. Because the Covid-19 pandemic is still there," said the Blora Police Chief through senior policewoman Iptu Lilik Widiastuti.
According to him, the policewomen's patrols are routinely carried out in addition to establishing partnerships as well as inviting residents to be willing and aware of the discipline of health protocols.
"Remember, the Covid-19 pandemic is still threatening, for that we must apply the discipline of health protocols in life," said Iptu Lilik.
Meanwhile, Dika, one of the visitors to Alun Alun Blora admitted that he was happy with the policewoman patrol, he felt more secure and comfortable while doing his activities.
"Alhamdulillah, of course we feel calmer with the presence of police officers," said the student from the Jepon sub-district.
In addition to conveying the appeal for kamtibmas and appeals for health protocols. The Blora Police Polwan Patrol also prepared free masks, which will be given to residents who have not worn masks. (Endah/POL)
