HT is suspected of collaborating with SS and several of his associates, who are trusted by local village officials.

A local villager, who declined to be named, explained that  the oil well  had actually been shut down by  the police  about two months before the fire. However, the activity continued clandestinely.

"The Regional Police had previously closed the location. But two months before the incident, activities resumed," he explained.

Following the closure by  the Central Java Regional Police  , the village government was also summoned for clarification. However, they were not aware of the exact details of the summons.

"The refined oil in one tank is marketed for up to IDR 950 thousand," he added.

He doesn't know for certain how the oil from the drilling proceeds. He only knows that the oil was purchased from local residents' land to investors.

He admitted to working as a transporter, collecting the oil from the well and loading it into a pickup truck because he had no other work.
