INFOKU, BLORA –Data on new cases of stunting in infants aged 0–5 months up to September 2026 has become a concern for the Blora Regency Government (Pemkab).
This condition encourages strengthening early prevention efforts, especially through risk detection in pregnant women and infant support.
Sri Setyorini, Head of the Blora Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team (TPPS), emphasized that stunting management should not stop at programs and administrative reports.

Interventions must be carried out early so that nutritional problems are not handled too late.
"We must not act only when nutritional problems have already occurred," he stressed.
Based on data from the first semester of 2026, Kunduran, Jepon, Tunjungan, and Cepu Districts are areas that require attention in efforts to address stunting.
Meanwhile, as of September 2026, Kunduran District recorded the highest number of new stunting cases.
According to him, this data should be a basis for regional government agencies (OPD) in determining intervention programs that are appropriate to the needs of each region.
"This data must be the basis for all regional agencies in determining targeted interventions," he said.
He also asked regional government agencies (OPDs) allocating budgets for stunting management to demonstrate measurable program implementation results.
