INFOKU, BLORA – The impact of the increase in asphalt and non-subsidized fuel prices is considered to have the potential to disrupt the implementation of construction projects in Blora Regency.
The DPRD asked the District Government to immediately conduct an evaluation so that the impact does not spread.
Chairman of Commission C of the Blora DPRD, Mukhlisin, said that the surge in material prices must be responded to quickly by adjusting the project's unit price.

"There must be immediate coordination and evaluation of unit price adjustments, so that budgets and programs can be adjusted," he said.
According to him, this condition risks burdening contractors and hampering priority programs, especially infrastructure development.
Moreover, regional fiscal conditions are under pressure due to cuts in Transfers to Regions (TKD).
He warned that without anticipatory measures, rising material prices could impact the quality of work in the field.
"If not addressed properly, it could impact the quality of projects, both roads and other construction projects," he stressed.
This condition is considered to increase the pressure on construction costs in the field.
"We hope the Blora Regency Government will immediately formulate adjustments so that the project continues and does not harm the community," he concluded.
For your information, Pertamina Patra Niaga data shows that asphalt prices rose by around 20 percent in early April 2026. Bulk asphalt rose from Rp 9,400 per kilogram to Rp 11,565 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the price of drum asphalt has increased from Rp 11,600 to around Rp 13,600 per kilogram, excluding taxes and distribution costs.
On the other hand, PT Pertamina (Persero) also increased the price of non-subsidized fuel as of April 18.
Pertamax Turbo jumped from Rp 13,100 to Rp 19,400 per liter, Dexlite from Rp 14,200 to Rp 23,600 per liter, and Pertamina Dex from Rp 14,500 to Rp 23,900 per liter. (Endah/ IST )
