INFOKU, BLORA – Rolling power outages in Blora Regency continue to roll.
All sub-districts take turns in the power outage schedule.
The average blackout duration is 2 to 3 hours.
There are no priority areas to avoid the rolling blackouts.
Recently, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) admitted that PT PLN (Persero) was experiencing problems with the supply of medium-calorie coal for power plants.
As a result, rotating blackouts were implemented in various areas, including Blora.
PT PLN (Persero) Blora Customer Service Unit (ULP) Manager Wardoyo confirmed that no area would be spared from the blackout schedule.
"Every sub-district will be affected," he told the press.
This means that both urban areas and remote villages must be patient when the electricity supply is temporarily cut off.
Wardoyo said the blackout was caused by problems with the generator.
However, he was reluctant to explain the cause in more detail.
"If the cause is like the one on the internet, it's common. You can search for it," he said.
According to him, the blackout lasted for around 2 to 3 hours and was carried out in rotation according to a schedule that had previously been announced to the public.
"As we informed in the groups," he added.
He emphasized that PLN ULP Blora only carries out instructions from the power generation system connected to the national interconnection network.
"It depends on the power plant. We can't be sure. The power plants are interconnected," he explained.
In recent weeks, the blackout schedule has continued. From June 19–22, 2026, several areas in the districts of Cepu, Kradenan, Kedungtuban, Ngawen, Tunjungan, Blora City, and other districts experienced power outages.

Then on Wednesday (24/6), PLN again carried out blackouts on the grounds of network maintenance.
This time, Sambiroto, Sendangwates, Ngawenombo, and Kedungwaru villages were affected from 10:00 to 16:00 WIB.
"For residents, the blackouts, which were previously considered rotating, now feel like routine. The only difference is waiting for their village's name to appear on the next list," he said. (Endah/ IST )
