INFOKU, BLORA –The Blora Regency Government has taken firm steps against a teacher at Randublatung 1 Middle School who is suspected of sending indecent messages to his female students.
The Regent of Blora confirmed that starting Monday, the teacher in question will no longer be teaching at the school.
This case previously surfaced after screenshots of WhatsApp conversations allegedly involving the teacher circulated widely.
In the conversation, the male teacher was said to have sent inappropriate messages, ranging from compliments such as "beautiful", heart emoticons, to the word "muuah", which were deemed to have violated the ethical boundaries of the relationship between teachers and students.
Responding to the viral case, Commission D of the Blora Regency DPRD moved quickly by summoning the school and the Education Office to ask for clarification.
Deputy Chairman of Commission D of the Blora DPRD, Achlif Nugroho Widi Utomo, emphasized that his party had gathered the Education Office, Inspectorate, Social Service P3A, BKPSDM, and school officials to unravel the facts of the case.
"We have questioned all elements. The potential for serious ethical violations is very clear in this case," he stressed to the press.
From the search results, it is known that this problem has occurred since 2025.
The teacher allegedly started his actions by calling one of the female students to the OSIS room on the grounds that the student often daydreamed and was considered to have problems.
The Head of the Blora Education Office, Sunaryo, told the press that the teacher with the initials P (Pak Pri) was an English teacher with state civil servant (ASN) status.
Although he acknowledged that the textual content of the message was inappropriate and violated ethics, Sunaryo said that his party was still investigating the background of the incident.
"Textually, it's inappropriate. We will involve the students' parents and the teacher's family for further investigation. The team will go into the field to determine if there was any further malicious intent," he said.
