Motorcycle Theft Dominates Crime in Blora, Expected to Increase by 22.6 Percent by 2025

INFOKU, BLORA –Crime cases in  Blora Regency   increased by around 22.6 percent throughout 2025, this number is higher than in 2024. 

Blora Police Chief ,  AKBP Wawan Andi Susanto  explained, according to infographic data presented by the Police, there were 181 cases in 2025.

The number of crime cases   increased by around 22.6 percent compared to the previous year.

"In 2024, 140 cases were recorded. In 2025,  crime cases  increased to 181 cases," he explained.

He detailed that of the total 181 criminal cases, 107 cases, or around 49 percent, had been resolved.

Meanwhile, 74 other cases are still under investigation.

Furthermore, the type of cases that occurred most frequently were dominated by   motor vehicle theft ( curanmor ) with 68 cases.

"In addition to motorcycle theft, prominent crimes throughout 2025 included 24 cases of fraud and embezzlement, 17 cases of aggravated theft (curat), and 11 cases of violent theft (curas)," he said.

On the other hand, there were 15 drug cases and the police managed to secure 18 suspects.

Police seized 125.23 grams of methamphetamine, 62.10 grams of marijuana, 315 ecstasy pills, and 634 other dangerous drugs from the suspects.  (Endah/ IST )
