Before being distributed ceremonially, the recipients rode the rickshaws from a warehouse in Bangkle Village.

They then drove west past the Pancasila Monument towards Blora Square, and arrived at the Pendopo of the Blora Regent's Official Residence.

When those who received the electric rickshaw assistance passed the Pancasila Monument, there was a rickshaw driver wearing a caping who could only watch his fellow professional riding the electric rickshaw.

He is Mbah Marji.

"Koncone do oleh aku ora oleh dewe (his friends all got it, I'm the one who didn't get it)," said Mbah Marji on his pedicab while watching his friend riding an electric pedicab.

Mbah Marji, a 65-year-old man, admitted that he did not receive any assistance.

He has been working as a pedicab driver since 1982.

"Nggeh dereng saestu mboten mbliduki, dadi wong tuwo tek Nggeh nggeh, mboten mboten (Yes, I haven't got it yet, I'm not lying, so parents, if yes, say yes, if no, say no)," he told the press.

Seeing his colleagues riding electric rickshaws, Mbah Marji, who is a resident of Beran Village, Blora District, also wanted to get the same treatment.

"I really want to get an electric rickshaw," he said with a smile.

He admitted that his income as a pedicab driver was uncertain.

In fact, he often does not get any income.

"Yo, it's not about money, mboten entuk saestu. Iki is doing sports, lha meh merdamel nopo (Yes, you don't get money, this is sports, what do you want to do)," he said.

Meanwhile, the Director of Planning and Business Development of the Nusantara Solidarity Movement Foundation (YGSN), Major General TNI (Ret.) Firman Dahlan, who was present in person in Blora, said that the electric rickshaw was direct assistance from President Prabowo Subianto to rickshaw drivers aged over 55 years.

"This electric rickshaw program wasn't a sudden or instantaneous initiative. It was long envisioned and planned by him. He specifically addressed the needs of rickshaw drivers, who are no longer able to pedal heavier rickshaws, so that they can enjoy the relief of using electric rickshaws," he explained.

He explained that the electric rickshaw is an environmentally friendly rickshaw and can support tourism activities in the Blora area.
