Access to trucks with three axles and above is restricted by the Blora Police during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

This is because there is a Joint Decree (SKB) from the Director General of Land Transportation, the Director General of Sea Transportation, the Head of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps, and the Director General of Highways, which was issued in November 2025, limiting heavy vehicles with 3 axles and above until January 4, 2026.

Central Java–DI Yogyakarta BBPJN official, Arif Agus Setyawan, said that some project work is still ongoing because the contract is valid until December 31, 2025.

However, all activities have been regulated to remain in accordance with regulations and not have a significant impact on road users.

"From the beginning, we have emphasized transportation regulations, particularly regarding over-dimension and  overload  ( ODOL ), to service providers. Based on field monitoring, the road network remains safe and under control," Arif told the press.

He explained that there were four IJD package work locations with quite high intensity.

The operational vehicles used are mostly dump trucks with a three-axle configuration and do not violate applicable regulations.

According to Arif, the material transportation routes are mostly on internal routes and local routes.

National roads that intersect only on certain sections, such as  Rembang – Blora – Jepon  and have been anticipated so as not to disrupt the main flow of Christmas and New Year.

"For the work packages we are responsible for, we have instructed them not to block roads and to maintain smooth traffic flow," he said.

Meanwhile, Blora Police Chief,  AKBP Wawan Andi Susanto  said, the police have prepared security measures and traffic engineering to anticipate increased public mobility during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The Blora Police  predict that the peak Christmas and New Year traffic flow in the region will occur on December 22-23, 2025.

Therefore, he also explained the restrictions on heavy vehicles passing through Blora Regency.

Then, operational restrictions on three-axle heavy vehicles will be enforced in accordance with the provisions in the Joint Decree.

"Heavy vehicle warnings have been issued, namely restrictions on the operation of three-axle trucks," said AKBP Wawan.

In order to secure Christmas and New Year, the Blora Police have set up five posts that will operate for 14 days, consisting of three security posts, one service post, and one integrated post, involving 162 personnel.

Furthermore, the Head of Traffic Police of Blora Police, AKP Anggito Erry Kurniawan explained the results of the meeting with the emergence of the Joint Decree.

That the restriction on vehicles with 3 axles and above is valid until January 4, 2026.

"Restrictions on vehicles with three axles and above on arterial roads will remain in effect every day from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM WIB, starting December 19, 2025, and ending January 4, 2026," he explained.

Meanwhile, continued AKP Anggito, the Joint Decree also explains the restrictions on vehicles with 3 axles and above on toll roads.

That is, it is implemented every day and there is no time setting.
