The project partners  are optimistic about completing it 100% by Friday (28/11).

Project contractor  , Ali, said progress in the 19th week had reached 78 percent.

He said construction was hampered by  the weather , so his team was still working as hard as possible.

"We also work overtime here when the weather is good," he said.

He revealed that if there had been heavy rain in the last 10 days, the project could potentially be  delayed  by around 5 to 7 days.

He hopes that the weather will remain good so that the work will run smoothly and will not result in penalty fines.

"The contract delay is per 1,000 of the agreed contract value. Our contract value is around Rp 8.4 billion. This means the fine will be around Rp 8 million," he explained.

Currently, said Ali, the homework (PR) on the fence around the reservoir, BRC fence, poles, UNP iron, and barbed wire is still at 10 percent.

However, for production on orders, he said that it had been carried out by the supplier according to the pre-order (PO) schedule.

"For the fence,  water gate , and barbed wire, production is 70 percent complete. So, yesterday, we produced the parts with the supplier, and the goods are now just being shipped and installed," he explained.

He confirmed that there were no problems with the availability of the materials that had been ordered.

However, installation and finalization still depend on natural factors, namely high rainfall intensity.

"There are no issues with material availability, particularly for fencing and other procurement. We've already placed the order on schedule, and if it doesn't rain in the next 10 days, it will definitely be completed," he concluded.  (Endah/ IST )
