INFOKU, BLORA -The plan to establish or form a Study Program campus outside the main campus or PSDKU of the Indonesian Arts Institute of Surakarta (ISI Solo) in Blora Regency continues to be refined by Regent Arief Rohman, with the leadership of the arts and culture campus.
Blora Regent Arief Rohman, who is familiarly known as Gus Arief, visited Solo to meet with the new Chancellor of ISI Solo, Friday (24/10/2025),
Accompanied by the Head of the Regional Development Planning, Research and Innovation Agency (Bapperida), Ahmad Mahbub Djunaidi.
The Regent and Head of Bapperida were received directly by the Chancellor of ISI Solo who was just inaugurated on October 6.

The two parties immediately coordinated to map out the stages for establishing a PSDKU campus in Blora Regency, given Blora's extraordinary arts and cultural potential.
" Thank God, this time we were able to meet and pay our respects to the new Rector of ISI Solo. This is an extraordinary young Rector, Mr. Bondet Wrahatnala. We had a long discussion earlier about the plan to open a PSDKU campus in Blora. Well, I hope the new Rector can follow through. We thought we had already agreed on the plan to open a puppetry department because the potential is extraordinary in Blora. We have many young puppeteers in Blora, including sinden (singers) and pengrawit (traditional Indonesian singers). So it is hoped that this will produce great puppeteers from Blora," said the Regent.
For the next step, he will immediately invite alumni of ISI Solo, originally from Blora, who have become successful artists, to sit together to support the PSDKU plan in Blora.
In order to absorb the aspirations of alumni who have received education at the ISI Solo campus.
The Chancellor of ISI Solo, Bondet Wrahatnala, expressed his positive appreciation for the Blora Regent's idea to improve the human resources of his region's arts and culture.
" Yes, God willing, we will soon realize this with the Blora Regency Government. God willing, we are targeting the establishment of PSDKU in Blora Regency by 2027. While preparing everything, the synergy between the Blora Regency Government and ISI Surakarta will be even more harmonious. Collaborative greetings, preserving Javanese culture," he emphasized.
The Blora Regency Government will prepare the location options for its campus.
Meanwhile, ISI Solo will prepare the administration and human resources for its lecturers in collaboration with the Blora Regency Government.
" As an initial step, we won't have to build a new building; we can use the Regency Government's building for the initial lectures. Please pray that our intention to improve the quality of Blora's arts and culture human resources will be successful, amen," the Regent added. (Endah)
