Driver Drops Off Passenger at Luxury Home: The Mystery of Gowok Well

INFOKU, BLORA –There is an old well that has many mysterious stories.

Gowok Well, that's what the residents of Seso Village, Jepon District, Blora Regency, call it.

The old well is known to be haunted, residents claim to often witness strange events when they are around the location.

Gowok Well is about 7 meters deep, its water never dries up even though it used to be a central point for residents to get water.

Some local people said that  the Gowok well  is still being used, but only for irrigating the rice fields around the well.

Many people claim to have experienced mystical events while at the well.

They witnessed the kepoh tree around the well location collapse without any rain or wind.

The tree wasn't fragile, it was still sturdy, and there was no wind. Suddenly, it collapsed on its own, making no sound, but the vibrations were felt.

After the kepoh tree fell, local residents cut it into small pieces so that it could be easily disposed of or used for other purposes.

A resident who participated in the cutting said that night he dreamed of being visited by a tiger.

In his dream, he was asked to return the tree trunk that had been cut into pieces to its original place.

There are even psychics who say that if the tree had not been cut down by the residents, it might have been able to stand again.

The driver, who was unfamiliar with the Seso area, saw a building that resembled a palace and stopped.

However, when he passed through the area again, the driver was surprised that the house was no longer there.

The driver told the local residents what happened to him.

Then the locals explained about the Gowok well. The road in front of the well used to be prone to accidents.
