INFOKU, BLORA -The Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) of Blora Regency officially launched the Mothers Planting Trees Movement (Rabu Pon) program at Bradag Village Hall, Ngawen District, Blora Regency, Wednesday (30/7/2025).
Head of the Blora Regency TP PKK, Ainia Shalichah Arief Rohman, explained that this innovative program aims to encourage the active role of mothers in preserving the environment through regular tree planting activities, especially every Wednesday Pon in the Javanese calendar.
"This activity is a strategic step in building collective awareness of the importance of reforestation, for a better future for the next generation," said Head of the Blora Regency Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), Ainia Shalichah Arief Rohman.
Ainia Shalichah Arief Rohman said that this movement is expected to become a new culture in society, especially among mothers, to contribute directly to environmental conservation and strengthening family food security through productive plants.
"It's crucial that we plant trees, especially since trees themselves play a role. Life breathes oxygen, and planting trees is one of the blessings of life. Every living human being has planted at least two trees," he said.
He said this movement is not just about planting trees, but rather a symbol of hope, life, and our concern for the earth and future generations. The benefits of this ongoing charity will become intercessory.
"With the spirit of mutual cooperation and cross-sector collaboration, the Mothers Planting Trees Movement (Rabu Pon) is expected to become a sustainable movement that is deeply rooted throughout Blora Regency," he added.

Luluk Nasruatin, Head of Bradag Village, Ngawen District (Chair of the Bradag Village PKK TP), expressed his gratitude to God Almighty for giving him good health so that he could gather on that day.
Meanwhile, the Head of Ngawen Sub-district, Mochammad Zainuri, also expressed his gratitude, especially on behalf of the Bradag Village community, for the launch of the Mothers' Tree Planting Movement (Rabu Pon) in the local village.
"Hopefully, the people of Bradag Village can plant trees. We hope that after this launch, we can encourage and cultivate tree planting, especially among Bradag's women. This will boost the economy and increase water availability to prevent flooding like last year," he emphasized. (Setyorini)
