The Unnes-Ministry of Villages MoU Renewal is Needed to Sustain the Unnes Village RPL Program in Blora, Which Has Not Yet Been Finalized.

The district government is still working on the plan, as it needs to renew cooperation and adjust to the new nomenclature from the Ministry of Villages (Kemendes).

It is still under discussion because there needs to be  another MoU between the Ministry of Villages and Unnes, due to the change in the Ministry's nomenclature," said the Head of the Blora Community and Village Empowerment Service (DPMD), Yayuk Windrati, to the press.

Yayuk emphasized that his party supports improving human resources (HR) in village government.

Moreover, this program can enhance the value of village officials. Currently, the students are completing their final assignments. 

Students are now all working on their theses,  book chapters , articles, or village projects," he explained.

This year, the first cohort, which is still in its fourth semester, continues. The subsidy budget for the Village RPL program has been paid. to the university.

This year, it has been budgeted and paid to Unnes for subsidies from the district government," he added.

Meanwhile, plans for the second batch of the Village RPL program have not yet been included in this year's budget.

His party is currently coordinating with the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) to ensure budget readiness and smooth program implementation.

"We are still coordinating with the TAPD to ensure the second phase of the RPL runs smoothly," he said.

The Blora DPMD has also coordinated with the Ministry of Villages and Unnes in order to evaluate the implementation of the first phase and prepare a cooperation agreement (PKS) for the second phase.

"The new PKS will adapt to the latest conditions, including revisions to the Regent's Regulation," he said.

The RPL program is a collaboration between the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT) and Semarang State University (Unnes), which allows village officials to study for a bachelor's degree for four semesters while still carrying out their duties. (Endah/ IST )
