People's School in Blora Scheduled to Launch July 10, 2025

INFOKU, Cepu, BLORA –Currently, the construction of  the People's School  in  Blora Regency  has reached 88 percent. 

It is confirmed that it will be released early or at the latest mid this month.

In the recorded contract, the project completion will be ended on July 8.

Construction Management Consultant (MK) for the Yodya-Virama KSO Project, Andry Sulistyawan, said that the target for project completion according to the contract is July 8.

"Release or  launch  on July 10," he said.

He explained that the construction of the People's School in Blora Regency was to renovate the building of  Balun 4th State Elementary School ,  Cepu District  , which had been abandoned for the past two years.

However, the development already includes several public facilities that will be used for the operation of the public school.

"The facilities that have been built include male and female dormitories, separate toilets, teacher dormitories, places of worship, classrooms, laboratories, ceremonial fields, dining rooms, libraries, health facilities, and other supporting facilities," he explained.

He continued, currently it has entered the  finishing stage  at several points.

Therefore, he targets that the school can be used according to the set schedule.

"We are currently entering the work stage for paving the field,  cleaning , and  finishing ," explained Andry.

He added that the development budget came from the Directorate of  Education Support Infrastructure Work Unit , Directorate General of Strategic Infrastructure, Ministry of PUPR, with a total value of IDR 322 billion for 65 schools in 24 provinces.

"So far, there have been 50 prospective students from underprivileged families who have registered. They will be divided into two study groups (rombel) for high school level," he said. (hul)

According to him, the location of the public school is very strategic, located in the center of Cepu District. The school building is adjacent to the Balun Village Office and other public facilities.

"It is only about 200 meters from Terminal Type A Cepu, and five minutes from Cepu Station," he added.  (Endah/ IST )
