INFOKU, BLORA –As many as 295 cooperatives have obtained legal status.
However, until now it is known that only one village cooperative has been launched , the District Government hopes that other village cooperatives will soon inaugurate their business units so that the newly formed cooperatives can be sustainable.
The district government plans to provide assistance.
One village cooperative that is officially operational is in Trembulrejo Village, Ngawen District .
With business units selling various snack food products from village women's SMEs , crafts, basic necessities, and daily necessities.

Regent Arief Rohman said that currently all village units have been legally registered with a valid establishment decree.
Each village cooperative is expected to form a business unit that has the potential to develop the village.
"Starting with Trembulrejo, we're asking other villages to immediately launch similar programs, in accordance with the business units that will be opened in their respective village offices," the Regent added.
Arief emphasized that Kopdes Trembulrejo was the first to officially open its operations.
He hopes that the central government's simultaneous programs can continue to develop and be sustainable to encourage economic growth in rural and sub-district areas.
"I hope this can be sustainable and the prices competitive. So the village head and other administrators can innovate," he stressed.
He ensured that the Blora Regency Government , through the Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs Service (Dindagkop UKM) and the Community and Village Empowerment Service (Dinas PMD), would continue to provide assistance in developing village cooperatives.
"In addition to mentoring, we also conduct regular supervision. This includes connecting village or sub-district cooperatives with various relevant business stakeholders," he said.
He gave an example: if a business sells rice, it will be connected to Bulog, and then to LPG. "We're waiting for the latest regulations," the Regent continued.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Blora Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs Office, Kiswoyo, confirmed that 271 village and 24 sub-district village cooperatives had been registered and obtained a deed of establishment as a legal entity.
Now the next step is needed, namely the inauguration of the business unit.
"We will immediately encourage other villages to open businesses that align with their respective potential," he emphasized. (Endah/ IST )
