Confirming that Blora's Sido Makmur Market e-Parking Revenue Can Reach 10 Million Rupiah Per Day, Here's His Statement

INFOKU, BLORA  -It seems that the electronic parking ( e-parking ) concept at  Sido Makmur Market   has borne sweet fruit.

Sido Makmur Market's e-parking revenue reaches IDR 10 million per day.

This is in contrast to regular parking which only costs IDR 1 million per day.

Head of the Market Division (Kabid) of the  Blora Trade  , Cooperatives and SMEs Service ( Dindagkop UKM )   Margo Yuwono told the press that the Sido Makmur Market e-parking had been running for five days, starting on Friday (11/7).

During the implementation, he is confident that he can exceed the predetermined target.

“Daily income can reach Rp. 8 million on weekdays and Rp. 10 million on holidays or  weekends .

"Meanwhile, before the implementation of e-parking, we only got IDR 1.1 million," he explained.

Margo admitted that during the implementation there were still positive and negative impacts that needed to be evaluated.

The positive impact is that it addresses public complaints about Sido Makmur Parking, which always has to be paid when changing locations.

"The negative impacts that need to be evaluated are those related to queues at the exit during peak hours," he explained.

According to him, e-parking is quite helpful for the community, as they only pay once when moving from one market block to another.

"The queues usually form between 6:00 and 9:00 a.m., when many visitors have already shopped and left the market. This still needs to be evaluated," he said.

He also explained that the initial target for implementation was IDR 210 million.

In fact, he said, it's now even higher. "It seems like it's higher. We'll check later," he said briefly.

He also said that one of the advantages of implementing e-parking is that it provides vehicle loss insurance.

However, regarding the goods carried, be it helmets, carts, and merchandise, these are the responsibility of each trader.
