Before the jumbo banner was installed, many people threw plastic waste or leftover trading waste from the bridge, so that the waste piled up and caused a bad smell.
"Finally, the residents here took the initiative to create a commemoration in the form of a jumbo banner," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of Sumber Village Aris Susanto in his statement, when confirmed by reporters, confirmed that previously the place was often used as a trash dump. So that it made his residents furious.
"We always appeal to our citizens to protect the environment. So they take the initiative to protect their respective environments in various ways. One of them is by making a banner that says prohibition of littering," he said.
According to him, although the sentence seems rude, it is a way for residents to anticipate the dumping of garbage in that place.
Aris added that the emergence of floods or landslides could be caused by human actions themselves. One of them is throwing garbage in the wrong place.
