INFOKU, BLORA –The discourse on the plan to regroup state elementary schools (SDN) in Blora needs to be considered carefully.
Commission D of the Blora DPRD asked the Blora Education Office (Disdik) to conduct an in-depth study.
This is because there is the potential for new problems regarding the distribution of teachers who are already teaching in schools that have the potential to be regrouped.
" Schools in one village that do not meet the rombel (study groups) will be regrouped . This will also be a problem when the regrouping occurs, teachers who have been recruited by PPPK will also be moved where?" said Deputy Chairman of Commission D of the Blora DPRD Achlif Nugroho Widi Utomo to the press.

In addition, an immature regrouping or merger plan has the potential to kill public schools due to distance.
Achlif gave an example, in Sidorejo Village, Kedungtuban District, there are SDN 1 and 2 which are separated by a bridge, then there is talk of merging them.
Students from SDN 2 who do not meet the required class requirements are transferred to SDN 1, while between the two schools there is a private school.
"(Parents think) why go all the way to SDN Sidorejo 1, because there is an MI (Islamic elementary school) closer. For example, like that," he said.
The PPP politician reiterated that the regrouping discourse must be thought through carefully.
He warned that temporary efficiency should not result in the death of state schools.
" The future impact (needs to be thought through carefully) as well. Don't just kill off state school institutions," he said.
Achlif continued, the last time Blora regrouped was in 2019.
Even if a thorough study decides to take a regrouping policy , he said it is necessary to involve the village to ask for their commitment to help ensure that the SDN remains alive.
Secretary of Blora Education Office Nuril Huda said that in the near future his party will invite Commission D to discuss the SDN regrouping plan .
"In the near future we will invite Commission D to discuss this issue," he said. (Endah/ IST )
