INFOKU, BLORA - The Blora Regency Government officially formed and confirmed the Irrigation Commission for the 2025-2027 term of office.
Taking place on the 2nd Floor of the Bapperida Building, the inauguration was led directly by Regent Arief Rohman, and witnessed by Deputy Regent Sri Setyorini, along with the Heads of related OPDs, Tuesday (27/5/2025).
The Blora Irrigation Commission is chaired by A. Mahbub Djunaedi who is also the Head of Blora Bapperida. Then the Acting Head of DPUPR as Daily Chair, the Head of the Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service as Deputy Chair, and the Head of SDA DPUPR as secretary.
Meanwhile, the members are the Head of Adpem Section of the Blora Regional Secretariat, Head of Regional Infrastructure Section of Bapperida, Head of Sarpras Section DP4, Head of DLH Section, Director of PDAM, and the Chairmen of the Water User Farmers Association (P3A) throughout Blora Regency.
The Regent expressed his pleasure and readiness to support the Irrigation Commission in Blora Regency to support the food self-sufficiency program. In line with the central and provincial programs.
"Yesterday I just attended the Musrenbang RKPD of Central Java Province in Semarang. In the meeting, the Governor also said that the focus of development in 2026 will be food security and its supporting infrastructure. Therefore, the establishment of this irrigation commission is very relevant to the food security program," said Regent Arief.
The Regent also hopes that the Irrigation Commission can maximize its role in optimizing irrigation functions in Blora Regency.
In addition to existing maintenance, it can also map out which irrigation potential can be built new so that it can be submitted to the Province or Center.
Regarding irrigation, the Regent also touched on clean water.
According to him, the potential for Todanan, Japah and Ngawen Districts can still be maximized.
"Efforts are being made together so that the Randugunting Dam can be used for clean water. Fortunately, the rainy season is quite long, but anticipation must still be done. In addition to irrigating rice fields, it must also be able to map the need for clean water in rural areas," he added.
Meanwhile, the newly inaugurated Chairman of the 2025-2027 Irrigation Commission, A. Mahbub Djunaedi, expressed his readiness to lead the Blora Regency Irrigation Commission.

"This commission, the noble commission to support the national food security program of Blora Regency. This is a noble task, to simultaneously realize Blora which has sufficient food with good irrigation. So that Blora can become a food barn for Central Java and the nation.
