Improvements Will Be Proposed in This Year's APBDP, Even Though SDN 2 Sumengko Building is Severely Damaged

INFOKU, BLORA – Approximately 33 students at  SDN  2 Sumengko, Bodeh Village,  Randublatung District  have to study in an uneasy atmosphere.

Because  the school building   they occupy is badly damaged.

The Blora Education Office ( Disdik ) promised that the development budget would be proposed in this year's Revised Regional Budget (APBDP).

The principal of SDN 2 Sumengko, Ika Supasih, said that all the classrooms at the school where students study are no longer suitable for use.

All buildings are in a state of severe damage. Starting from the floor, walls, and roof tiles are broken and cracked.

"It is very dangerous for our students," he said.

Venomous Snake Enters

Ika continued, apart from the unsuitable building, the room that students usually use to study is often entered by poisonous snakes.

The snakes are often found in students' desk drawers and under broken ceramics.

We endure studying like this because there is no other choice. Wanting to stay at a resident's house is also not possible," he said.

He said, with the small number of students, the school operational assistance (BOS) funds received were also minimal.

All school facilities are limited. So, there is not much the school can do except surrender to the situation.

"We just surrender to learning with limitations and a sense of anxiety," he said.
