INFOKU, BLORA - Until this news was written, the polemic regarding market retribution rates in Blora Regency had not yet been resolved.
Traders' rejection of the adjustment of the retribution rates regulated in Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 6 of 2023 continues to roll.
Traders want the levy rates to be the same as when the relaxation policy was in place.
Meanwhile, the Blora Regency Government (Pemkab) is trying to increase regional income.
The Regent and the Blora Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) plan to hold a meeting to find the best solution for traders.
Blora Regent Arief Rohman stated that his party had heard complaints from market traders regarding the retribution rates.
He emphasized that the rates were set in accordance with regional regulations to increase regional original income (PAD).
However, the final decision is still awaiting the results of the meeting with the Blora DPRD .

"We will follow up on the complaint immediately. But we are waiting for the decision of the meeting with the DPRD first. We will discuss it together as soon as possible," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of the Market Division of the Blora Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs Service (Dindagkop UKM) Margo Yuwono revealed that until now there has been no follow-up meeting with the DPRD and related agencies.
The party is still implementing the tariff according to Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2023.
"Actually, we did not increase the retribution rate, but according to market traders it increased. The problem is, in 2024, there was a relaxation from Blora Regent Arief Rohman of almost half the rate," he said.
Margo also explained the details of the current market levy rates.
For kiosks with square meter counts, the rate is IDR 600 per square meter per day.
If the average trader pays IDR 7,200 per day with a kiosk area of 12 square meters, then in a month the costs that must be paid reach IDR 216,000, and in a year it reaches IDR 2,590,000.
