INFOKU, BLORA – Since long ago, drought problems have often hit Blora Regency .
Likewise, there is a problem of clean water in several areas .
It was noted that four sub-districts in Blora Regency were still having difficulty getting clean water .
In addition, the PDAM water network has not been able to reach the maximum in the four sub-districts.
Public Relations of PDAM Tirta Amerta Blora Nanang Fahru told the press that the four sub-districts that will still have difficulty getting clean water by 2025 are Japah , Banjarejo , Tunjungan , and Jati Sub-districts .
"In the four sub-districts, there is already a small part of the PDAM network. However, it has not been maximized due to network limitations, due to the long distance," he explained.
The four sub-districts do not have water sources that can supply the area.
Therefore, he assessed that the option that could be chosen was the creation of reservoirs or water pockets that could store water during the rainy season.
"If the creation of network access to the four sub-districts from the nearest SPAM (drinking water supply system) is still constrained by distance. Because the distance traveled is also far," he explained.
They hope to be able to touch these areas. So, they can serve all communities.
"Yes, I want that. Service to the community can be maximized," he said.
He explained that in Tunjungan District itself, testing of a new network taken from the Randugunting Dam was being carried out.
Later, the water from the dam will flow into Gudang Banyu in Blora city.

"The study for Tunjungan sub-district was previously conducted to Greneng Reservoir, because it has a close location. However, for the SPAM discourse, it went to Randugunting Dam," he said.
"Meanwhile, for the realization itself, we do not know exactly when," added Nanang. (Endah/ IST )
