Companies in Blora Must Pay THR No Later Than 7 Days Before Eid, THR Cannot Be Paid in Installments....!?

INFOKU, BLORA –The Industry and Manpower Service (Disperinaker) of Blora Regency emphasized that payment of Eid Allowance (THR) for private workers must be made no later than D-7 of Eid and cannot be paid in installments. 

Head of Blora Disperinaker, Endro Budi Darmawan, explained that this regulation refers to the Circular Letter (SE) of the Minister of Manpower Number M/2/HK.04.00/III/2025 concerning the Implementation of the Provision of Religious THR for Workers/Laborers in Companies.

"The Minister of Manpower has decided that the disbursement of THR must be done in full, cannot be paid in installments, and must be paid no later than 7 days before Eid," said Endro in Blora Regency, Central Java Province on Thursday (13/3/2025).

Endro added that this regulation will soon be followed up through a Circular Letter (SE) from the Blora Regent which will be sent to 400 large and medium-sized companies in Blora Regency.

If Eid al-Fitr falls on March 31, 2025, the company is required to pay THR no later than March 24, 2025.

"We will continue to coordinate with companies so that they pay THR on time. If there is a delay, workers are welcome to report to the Blora Disperinaker through the complaint hotline," he said.

Based on applicable regulations, Religious THR is given to workers or laborers who have worked for at least one month continuously with the following conditions:

Workers with a service period of 12 months or more are entitled to receive THR equal to 1 month's salary.

Workers with less than 12 months of service will receive THR proportionally with the calculation: (Work period (months) / 12) × 1 month's salary.

This THR applies to workers with an Indefinite Term Employment Agreement (PKWTT) or a Fixed Term Employment Agreement (PKWT).

Disperinaker Blora provides a hotline and complaint post for workers who experience delays or obstacles in the disbursement of THR. Reports received will be immediately followed up by summoning the relevant company.

"We will take firm action against companies that do not comply with the THR payment rules. Workers who do not receive their rights according to the provisions can report to us," concluded Endro. (Endah / IST )
