INFOKU, BLORA – The overflowing Sogo River caused 30 houses in Wado Village, Kedungtuban District to be submerged in floodwater .
In addition, the potential for heavy rain is still lurking, potentially increasing the water discharge of the Bengawan Solo .
Until yesterday afternoon (26/2), the water level ( TMA ) in Cepu was recorded at yellow alert, but tended to recede.
The Rapid Reaction Team (TRC) of the Blora Regional Disaster Management Agency ( BPBD ), Agung Triyono, said that the flood in Wado Village caused 30 houses to be inundated with water 100 centimeters high.

The flood was not an overflow from the Bengawan Solo , but rather the overflow of the Sogo River which was unable to accommodate the volume of rainwater.
"The flood occurred due to heavy rain for a long duration, causing water to overflow into residential areas," he said.
Triyono said that as of yesterday afternoon, the flood that hit residents' homes had gradually receded.
Meanwhile, the status of the Bengawan Solo TMA which crosses Kradenan , Kedungtuban, and Cepu Districts was on yellow alert yesterday afternoon (26/2), but tended to recede.
"For the Bengawan Solo River, the alert level is yellow, as of this afternoon it tends to recede," he said.
He said that the upstream areas of the Bengawan River in the Ngawi , Solo and Sragen areas experienced heavy rain on Thursday afternoon (26/2).
This could be a possibility that the river water discharge will increase.
However, it is not yet known whether heavy rain will occur in the Blora area in the future, but this afternoon there was heavy rain.
"There is no information (from BMKG ) for the Blora area whether there will be heavy rain again," he said.
Triyono added that the rising waters of the Bengawan Solo also caused several landslides.
Until yesterday afternoon, his party was still collecting data on which locations were affected.
"We are still conducting an inventory of landslide points due to rising river water," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
