INFOKU, BLORA -The Blora DPRD held a plenary meeting to announce the determination of the elected candidate pair for Regent and Deputy Regent of Blora Regency 2024 and the announcement of the dismissal of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Blora at the DPRD building, Thursday (16/1/2025).
Furthermore, the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Blora Regency will immediately submit a proposal for the ratification and appointment of the elected regent and deputy regent to the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) through the Governor of Central Java.
Blora DPRD Chairman Mustopa in his introduction to the plenary meeting stated that the Blora Regency General Election Commission (KPU) had conveyed to the DPRD the results of the plenary meeting to determine the elected candidate pair for regent and deputy regent of Blora Regency in the 2024 General Election.
According to him, based on Article 160 and Article 160 A of Law Number 10 of 2016, it is stated that the ratification of the elected candidate pair for regent and deputy regent is carried out based on the determination of the elected candidate pair by the Regency KPU with the DPRD submitting it to the Minister of Home Affairs through the governor.
It is announced that based on the decision of the Blora KPU number 1 of 2025 dated January 9, 2025 concerning the Determination of the Elected Candidate Pair for Regent and Deputy Regent of Blora Regency in the 2024 Election, the candidate pair for regent and deputy regent of Blora number 1, namely Arief Rohman-Sri Setyorini with 395,827 votes or 83.75 percent of the total valid votes, were determined as the elected candidate pair for regent and deputy regent.

The DPRD leadership in the plenary meeting also announced that the terms of office of Regent Arief Rohman and Deputy Regent Tri Yuli Setyowati would end together with the inauguration of the elected regent and deputy regent from the 2024 Election. (Setyorini)
