Hariyanto, a resident of Kedungtuban Village, questioned the government's reasons for not immediately cutting down and evacuating the trees that were at risk of falling on the Kedungtuban road.

"I'm sure there's been a mapping of the area. Which areas are vulnerable, including the matter of fallen trees," he said.

According to him, residents actually wanted to carry out logging, but were afraid of breaking the rules.

On the other hand, if no action is taken immediately, the dry trees could fall down.

"If it falls and hits residents, then who is responsible?" he said.

The Rapid Reaction Team (TRC) of the Blora Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Agung Triyono, confirmed that many trees on the provincial route were at risk of falling.

Covering the Cepu, Kedungtuban, Randublatung, and Jati roads. Especially now in the rainy season, it is feared that it will collapse and hit motorists.

"But last year there were no reports of trees falling on drivers," he said.

The Head of Ngraho Village, Kedungtuban District, Sri Lestari Indajani, has sent letters to a number of agencies to cut down trees that are at risk of falling.

Some have been checked in the field, but there has been no execution process from the government.
