INFOKU, BLORA -185 patients were recorded in eleven months, people with HIV / AIDS ( ODHA ) in Blora.
They are required to have check-ups and take medication provided at hospitals and health centers .
The Blora Health Service ( Dinkes ) appealed for there to be no discrimination or exclusion of PLHIV.
Head of the Disease Prevention and Control Division of the Blora Health Office, Prih Hartono, through his Sub-Coordinator Sutik, revealed that the data summarized from January to November found 185 PLWHA.
In detail, there are 167 HIV sufferers, while 18 people have AIDS.

"We got the data because they came directly to the hospital or health center," he said.
He emphasized that he did not conduct tracing or searches in the localized areas.
The PLWHA who were recorded were those who were aware of their body condition.
Because the virus attacks a person's immune system.
Therefore, regular treatment is needed, such as taking antiretroviral ( ARV ) drugs.
"Every health center has provided medicine for PLHIV, they routinely consume it," he said.
He explained that PLWHA are spread across several places.

The largest number is in Blora District with 20 sufferers.
"In the districts of Cepu , Kedungtuban , and Jepon , there are around a dozen people," he said.
Sutik appealed that PLHIV sufferers should not be ostracized or discriminated against in their residential environment.
Because, HIV/AIDS transmission is quite difficult. Other people can only be infected if there is sexual intercourse, blood transfusion, and the use of shared needles.
"So just shaking hands is not contagious, interacting like in everyday life is also not contagious," he stressed.
According to him, HIV/AIDS is an iceberg phenomenon that each person must address.
He also appealed to married couples to be faithful to their respective partners .
"Be faithful to your partner, because HIV/AIDS is an iceberg phenomenon," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
