Supporting the Free Nutritious Meal Program, Dandim 0721/Blora Reviews the Readiness of the Healthy Kitchen

INFOKU, BLORA -Commander of Kodim 0721/Blora, Lieutenant Colonel Czi Yuli Hartanto accompanied by Pasiter and Danramil 01 Blora visited the Healthy Kitchen, Dandim and his entourage were welcomed by the Free Nutritious Meal Team (MGB) at the Healthy Kitchen in Blora District, Blora Regency, Friday (12/27/2024). 

This visit is part of an effort to support the Free Nutritious Meal Program which will begin in 2025.

During his visit, Dandim 0721/Blora directly reviewed the healthy kitchen facilities and saw the kitchen's readiness in storing and processing food.

 Likewise, the condition of the cooking area, food storage area, and cooling area, all of which must meet cleanliness standards.

The Nutritious Meal Program itself is a government program to improve the quality of nutrition and public health, especially for children and pregnant and breastfeeding mothers in various regions.

This program is expected to overcome the problem of malnutrition and help create a healthier generation.

"This morning we conducted a healthy kitchen check in Blora Regency, to ensure that the Healthy Kitchen facilities are ready to support the MBG program. Alhamdulillah, today's readiness in the trial distribution of nutritious food for pregnant women and children totaling 360 people is ready to be distributed," said Dandim Blora.

According to him, the plan is to implement it five days a week from Monday to Friday, totaling 2,975 each day, while Saturday and Sunday are holidays.

In the same place, the Head of SPPG Artika said that the trial in the Blora SPPG kitchen had been carried out three times on the 23rd.

"Today is December 27 and tomorrow is December 28, 2204. The targets are pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and toddlers, which will be implemented in Tempelan, Kedungjenar and Karangjati sub-districts," he explained.
