INFOKU, BLORA – Regency Governmenthas beguncalculating the budget requirementsfree lunchprogram from the center .
The Blora Education Office ( Disdik ) estimates that the budget for the initial free nutritious meal program will reach IDR 1.2 billion per day.
This amount has covered all school children at the PAUD, TK, SD and SMP levels throughout Blora Regency if implemented in full.
Head of the Blora Regency Education Office, Sunaryo, said that the nutritious lunch program was one of the priority programs that must be implemented in early January 2025.

"For the budgeting process of the nutritious lunch program, it might be shared with the central government. For the mechanism of this nutritious lunch, we don't know exactly yet," he said.
He added that his party had recently received files from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) regarding the implementation mechanism.
The target for nutritious lunches are PAUD, Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle School children who are under the responsibility of the Blora Education Office.
For high schools and vocational schools, it is covered by the Central Java Provincial Government.

"We do not yet know whether the program will be implemented by BGN through a public kitchen or the service through food catering. We do not yet know the mechanism clearly, we will provide information at another time," he said.
He explained that for PAUD, Kindergarten, Elementary School, and Middle School children, there are a total of 120,454 children recorded in the Basic Education Data (Dapodik).
Not long ago, his party conducted a trial at a school with a food budget of IDR 15 thousand for rice, side dishes, fruit and milk.

"So if one child is given a food ration of Rp 15 thousand, the budget could be Rp 1.8 billion per day. While recently nutritious food is only Rp 10 thousand, the budget spent could be Rp 1.2 billion per day,'' he concluded. ( Endah / IST )
