Dhika also deeply regrets that the Jurangjero residents who are fighting to protect their environment have become victims of SLAPP ( Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation ) or criminalization of someone who fights for public interests in the environment from PT KRI.
" The efforts made by PT KRI are an attempt to silence environmental activists ," he stressed.

He explained that the efforts of the residents should not be used as a pretext by the company to silence the community with Article 170 of the Criminal Code.
Because environmental activists are protected by environmental protection and management laws.
" Article 66 explains that environmental activists cannot be prosecuted criminally and sued civilly," he said.
He emphasized that the case that befell the Jurangjero residents was a case of silencing.
Therefore, it must be fought for together, so that society can enjoy its rights to the environment.
It is known that some time ago, 23 Jurangjero residents were named suspects by the Rembang Police .
However, after a while, they were released, but still had to report.

His party wants the law enforcement process to continue.
" Likewise, if it turns out that there are PT KRI employees who are involved, then they can be processed legally," he said. (Endah / IST )
