Blora Farmers Complain About Difficulty Accessing Subsidized Fertilizer, Problem of Obtaining Farmer Cards Becomes Serious Problem

INFOKU, BLORA -Based on the data obtained, the amount of  subsidized fertilizer absorption  until last August was 35,557 tons of urea and 25,108 tons  of NPK fertilizer .

During the absorption, there were still  farmers  who complained about the difficulty of accessing  subsidized fertilizer .

This is because they do not have  a farmer card, so it is a serious problem for farmers .

Even though it has been included in the electronic system for definitive group needs planning ( e-RDKK ).

"The way to get it is still difficult. There should be no need to use  farmer cards  or anything, fertilizer can go directly to the hands of farmers," said Waris, a farmer from Mendenrejo Village,  Kradenan District to the press .

Waris said that several of his farmer groups had already registered with e-RDKK.

Meanwhile, the number of farmer cards is limited.

He admitted that he had confirmed this at the Agricultural Extension Office (BPP) and  BRI , but currently they are not issuing any more cards.

"They said they no longer issue farmer cards. So, they can't get fertilizer, and they are also burdened with transactions using  BRIMO ," said the farmer who is also a member of the Blora Farmers' Tongue Union.

Waris hopes that fertilizer absorption will be facilitated, and also hopes that  the district government  will participate in stabilizing prices during harvest.

So that the results of farmers' hard work in planting can be felt.

"We hope the government will participate in this, so that prices from farmers do not fall," he explained.

Only with KTP

Head of Facilities and Infrastructure Division of the Blora Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Service ( DP4 ), Sukandar, told the press that farmers can absorb subsidized fertilizer without using a farmer card.

The latest policy is to directly use  KTP , provided that farmers are registered in e-RDKK.

This policy is to facilitate  access  for farmers who do not have farmer cards.

"Without a farmer card, you can absorb subsidized fertilizer by showing your ID card, as long as you enter e-RDKK," he said.

He explained that from the data collected until the end of August, it was recorded that 35,557 tons of urea fertilizer had been absorbed, while 25,108 tons of NPK had been absorbed.

This amount includes additional fertilizer for this year.

"Absorbed starting in January, each region has a different planting season," he explained.

He said, as a form of supervision in the field, this month there will be monitoring of   complete fertilizer distribution kiosks ( KPL ).

"There will be an audit from the BPK (Financial Audit Agency) for the KPL," he concluded. (Endah/ IST )
