INFOKU, BLORA - Blora Regency PDIP DPC is ready to fight against the incumbent in the 2024 regional elections, even if only alone.
They brought in Abu Nafi - Andika Adikrishna (Abdi) to challenge Arief Rohman-Sri Setyorini (Asri).
This assurance was conveyed by the DPC PDIP Treasurer of Blora Regency, Kuat Prihantoro, as registration for candidates for regent and deputy regent of Blora opened on August 27-29.
"In the internal PDIP letter regarding Blora's recommendation, it was not mentioned. "But when it was submitted online, Blora came in," he explained.

PDIP itself has indeed received a breath of fresh air after the Constitutional Court's decision.
Because, if you refer to the old PKPU which required political parties or combinations of political parties to have 20 percent of the seats in the DPRD, then PDIP certainly cannot nominate a candidate for regent.
Because so far, PDIP Blora Regency is alone, no other parties have joined the coalition.
With 8 seats won in the 2024 legislative election, PDIP is still one seat short.
However, with the Constitutional Court's decision which was then followed up through the latest PKPU, the threshold for nominating regional head candidates was lowered.
For Blora Regency with a DPT of 500,000-1,000,000, the requirement for nominating a regent is to get the support of 7.5 percent of the valid votes.
In this case, PDIP Blora Regency has exceeded. Because PDIP got 18.32 percent of the valid votes.
So, it is more than enough to nominate regent even without forming a coalition with other parties.
“This Blora is certain. Not just a leak. We carry Abu Nafi-Andika. "The candidate for regent is Abu Nafi," he added.
Even though Abu Nafi is a PPP politician, according to the party's recommendation, PPP did not support Abu Nafi.
So, PDIP did not form a coalition with PPP in supporting Abdi.
“As a recommendation, PPP is not for us. But, vote for us. "Formally, their recommendation letter B 1 KWK is next door," he said.
According to him, even though PDIP itself is ready to fight against the incumbent who is supported by dozens of political parties. and will be ready to fight.
"We'll register on Wednesday morning," he added. ( Endah/ IST )
