Three Independent Bacabup Begin to Appear in Blora

INFOKU, BLORA - Currently the stages of the 2024 Blora Regional Head Election ( Pilkada ) are starting to be announced. 

In particular, for individual candidate pairs, there are already three people who want to run independently.

Chairman of the General Election Commission ( KPU ) Blora Widi Nurintan Ary Kurnianto said the three people were Gus Aqut from Islamic boarding school circles.

Then, one of the volunteers was K Aang, and Sukisman as Chair of the Non-Governmental Organization ( NGO ) State Financial Supervisory Society ( MPKN ).

“(The three people) started asking questions about the requirements. For  independent bacabup  (regent candidate candidates) they must at least collect the required number of supports of 52,822 votes spread across nine sub-districts.

"The percentage is 7.5 percent of the total DPT (permanent voter list), namely, 704,285 people," he said to the press.

He also said that the collection of support would be waited until May 12.

And, administrative verification will be carried out from May 13 to May 29.

"Prospective individual partners are required to submit a statement of support using the individual model B.1 KWK form via the Silonkada application and must include proof of a photocopy of their KTP," he explained.

Meanwhile, MPKN Chairman Sukisman said he was starting to work on finding the required amount of support.

He also regretted that the KPU had shortened the collection period too much.

"I've started planning, I also have a team to supervise it later. "Who the representatives are is still a secret, what is clear is that we are now optimistic that we can reach 52,000 supports," he explained.  Endah/ IST )
