INFOKU, BLORA - Prospective Hajj pilgrims ( CJH ) will undergo the Hajj rituals at the Blora Regency Government Pendapa Saturday (27/4).
The Blora Ministry of Religion ( Kemenag ) will map congregations aged 60 years. Meanwhile, priority seniors are 84 years and over.
Head of the Hajj and Umrah Organizing Section (Kasi) of the Blora Ministry of Religion, Amalia Winarni, said that the mapping was to sort out elderly pilgrims with a minimum age of 60 years.
"At this time, the number is not yet known and will be mapped during the Hajj rituals," he said.
Amalia explained that currently the data on elderly people is only priority elderly (aged 84 years).
Blora Regency was given 20 portions for this year's departure.
However, this portion was not taken completely. Because, only nine priority elderly people paid it off.
"There are 11 other elderly people who did not pay, because they died," he said.
He explained that the departure of the elderly congregation this year was different from previous years.
This is because the government has allowed companions for the elderly to perform the Hajj .
From the recapitulated data, it was recorded that 26 elderly companions had paid their fees in full.
“This year, the elderly can pray more comfortably. Because assistance from family is allowed. "Previously, we were only accompanied by officers," he explained.
Furthermore, he explained, not all elderly congregation families can become companions.
This is because the government has restricted that companions must be registered on May 13 2019.
"Those who registered recently cannot become companions," he concluded.
It is known that there are 620 pilgrims who have paid their fees and departed this year out of a total quota of 650 seats.
The plan is that the remaining seats that are not paid for by the congregation will be replaced by reserves from the Central Java Ministry of Religion . ( Endah / IST )
