Beware, there are brokers who can be accepted by CASN, all selection stages go through the system

INFOKU,BLORA - Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) of Blora Regency, Heru Eko Wiyono, appealed to the public, especially applicants for State Civil Service Candidates (CASN), to be careful if there are brokers who offer the promise of being accepted. 

"Be careful if there are brokers who say they can be accepted as CASN, because all the selection stages go through the system. "The important thing is to pass the test, prepare yourself by studying from the BKN and the formation development agency you are applying for," he stressed, Tuesday 2 April 2024.

Suspected CPNS broker

Meanwhile, the Police have arrested a suspect in CPNS recruitment fraud, whose initials are KN (45), on charges of criminal fraud in the recruitment of prospective civil servants (CPNS) against a resident in Blora.

"According to the KTP, the suspect comes from Nglebur Village, Jiken District, Blora Regency. "However, the suspect is domiciled at Perumnas Karangjati, Blora," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Blora Police, AKP Sugiman, Tuesday 2 April 2024.

AKP Sugiman, conveyed the incident in January 2022.

The victim was Sunarti (48), a resident of Tempurejo Village, Blora District, Blora Regency.

"The method is to promise to pass the selection for CPNS acceptance at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights," he stressed. 

Meanwhile, the Head of the Tipidum Unit of the Blora Police, First Police Inspector (Iptu) Moh Junaidi, added that due to this fraud incident the victim suffered losses of up to IDR 302,500,000.00.

“Money transactions are made in stages between nominal amounts of IDR 20 million, IDR 40 million, IDR 60 million and so on in cash. "Indeed, there was no receipt. However, no crime is perfect, so during our investigation we found evidence that we think is very fatal and can determine him as a suspect," he explained.

The police secured 6 items of evidence in the form of documents, screenshots of conversations between the reported party and the reporter, one receipt for IDR 20 million, one bundle of requirements in the name of Ovi, and 1 bundle of requirements in the name of Hestu.

"So these two are children of victims who were promised that they would qualify to become employees at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights," he explained.

Inspector Junaidi said the suspect was charged under Article 378 of the Criminal Code regarding fraud which carries a maximum prison sentence of 4 years.

To members of the public, Inspector Junaedi advised them to always be careful and alert to fraud, whether online or conventional fraud.

"Learning from this incident, we urge members of the public not to trust people who promise us something, especially in exchange for money or goods, because this could be a method of fraud," said Inspector Junaedi. (Endah/KOM)
